The Gallagher Family Endowed Scholarship in Nursing

The Gallagher Family Endowed Scholarship in Nursing at Seminole State College was established in 2015 to recognize the devoted efforts of the Gallagher women in both the healthcare industry and community service. Gerry, the family matriarch, has spent over 41 years as a registered nurse. She began her career in Massachusetts; later working for Orange Memorial Hospital, which is now known as Orlando Health. Eligible students must be currently enrolled in the nursing program, attending full-time (12+ credit hours), and demonstrate financial need. Preference will be given to students who plan to remain in Central Florida upon graduation.
