Johnson Scholarship Foundation Direct Connect Scholarship

Established by the Johnson Scholarship Foundation, the Johnson Foundation Endowed Scholarship fund provides tuition and book assistance to students who are enrolling in DirectConnect to UCF program. Students admitted into the program will receive a scholarship every Fall and Spring term as long as full-time enrollment is maintained (24 credit hours per year). Once graduated, the student may be eligible to continue the scholarship at the direction of UCF. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need.

  2. Submit an essay (300-500 words) explaining your interest in the Johnson Scholars Program, your particular career pathway and future aspirations.
  3. If selected for award, do you acknowledge that you must complete 24 credit hours each academic year for two years to qualify for the scholarship?
  4. Please upload a screenshot of your 2025 Fall Term registration or list the classes with credit hours to confirm enrollment of 12 or more credit hours. Upload must be either a PDF or Word Document.
